Experienced Structural Engineer (P.E.)

The ideal candidate for this PROJECT MANAGEMENT position will have experience in the design of municipal, transportation, utility and site development projects including:

  • Responsible for engineering design and technical support for projects related to new and ongoing civil/municipal design projects

  • Responsible for management of the project including estimating, cost, schedule, design, construction management and close-out activities

  • Possess strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office suite

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university is required, eight + years experience, with 5 years Project Management experience.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) License or an active commitment to obtain licenses in pa is required. This position requires prior experience in the civil engineering design and construction administration related to roadway, utility, site development and municipal services.

Experienced Municipal/Civil Engineer

With 5 + years experience, primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Researching code and ordinance requirements for project sites; prepare reports and design relative to drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control for project permits and approvals; Prepare permits; Prepare concept/design documents; provide site design and layout; prepare grading and earthwork analysis; prepare water distribution, sanitary sewer and storm drainage design; municipal review; site inspections and knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry a plus.

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree, 4+ years of experience working in a civil engineering firm. Candidate should be Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite and must be able to meet project deadlines within given budget limits and time frames and possess a strong technical background/communication and presentation skills.

Water/Wastewater Engineer and Project Manager

The qualified applicant should have extensive experience leading the study and design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution and wastewater conveyance systems. The candidate should have experience or interest in Project Management, developing technical staff and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise technical staff in the development of studies, reports and plans

  • Collaborate with fellow professionals on a wide range of water and wastewater treatment engineering projects

  • Direct and oversee field work to evaluate project requirements, opportunities, and constraints

  • Leading the planning, design and construction oversight of water and wastewater treatment related infrastructure projects

  • Providing mentorship and development advice to junior level staff

  • Interfacing with clients for planning purposes, providing updates and building positive relationships

  • Lead or support technical proposal preparation efforts along with delivering client interviews

  • Interact with clients, suppliers, regulators, and stakeholders to help create successful concepts

  • Participate in asset management tasks for water and wastewater facilities

  • Plan, design, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of a project independently as well as with other engineering disciplines and project management staff

    Minimum Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure design, assessment, and rehabilitation, including treatment, conveyance and pumping systems

  • Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire

  • Experience in coordination with regulatory agencies and project management experience is preferred.

Construction Inspector (Water Treatment Plant Construction/Expansion Experience | Full or Part-Time)

Requirements/Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years’ experience in construction/expansion/renovation of public water treatment facilities.

  • Ability to read and understanding construction plans and specifications.

  • Proficient math, oral and written communication skills, including technical sketches.

  • Computer skills to prepare professional, thorough, and accurate inspection reports.

  • Knowledge of confined space and OSHA construction safety.

  • Willing and able to work in a heavy civil construction project environment, both indoor and outdoor.

  • A valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities include:

  • Awareness of safety requirements.

  • Field inspection and documentation during construction for compliance with project plans and specifications.  Daily and weekly reporting.

  • Verify materials and equipment to be incorporated in the work are in accordance with the contract documents, including approved material submittals and shop drawings.

  • Document construction activities, quantities, progress, resources, etc.

  • Identify issues (and potential issues) that may affect the project schedule and/or cost.

  • Attend project coordination and progress meetings.

  • Communication and coordination with project management.

  • Timely referral of deviations, issues, etc., to project management.

  • Commitment to working together with project owners, contractors, design professionals, etc., to provide a high quality completed project within the schedule and budget expectations.

Project Civil Engineer

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with EIT, 5+ years of design experience in civil site design, stormwater management, erosion control, sewage and water distribution system projects and working knowledge of AutoCad.

Survey Crew Members/CAD Drafting

Reilly is looking for an energetic entry to mid-level, full time, Survey Crew Member eager to learn field surveying and civil CAD drafting. Working knowledge of GPS Equipment, Data Collection, AutoDesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products and programs are preferred, but we are willing to teach a motivated individual. A Degree in Survey and/or SIT certificate is a plus, but not required.

Assistant Civil Engineer

Reilly Associates is seeking a recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, preferred with EIT. The position requires 0-3 years of design experience in civil site design, stormwater management, erosion control, sewage and water distribution system projects and working knowledge of AutoCad.

Construction Inspectors

Reilly Associates has openings for Construction Inspectors with 5+ years’ experience in construction, expansion, and/or renovation in any of the following areas: public water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, utility and/or civil construction.
